Area Sales Manager (HVAC)

(covering the London/South area for Coolmation Limited sales division)

Develop and gain chiller business, to agreed targets, within the territory and market sectors identified, using best personal endeavours and resources provided by the company

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • To sell to HVAC, M&E and refrigeration contractors, Facility Management providers, Engineering Houses and Consultants
  • To sell, promote and get the Rhoss range of water chillers and heat pumps specified for air conditioning and industrial applications
  • A mixture of new business development leading to account management
  • Business to business field sales
  • Attend periodic sales and management meetings and report on matters of strategic interest to the business
  • Maintain and update on a daily or weekly basis, diary management, sales reports and databases as provided
  • Promote other Coolmation Group activities whenever the opportunity arises and maintain a good level of communication with counterparts in other Coolmation Group company’s
  • You will be expected to spend 4 days a week visiting clients and working from home the other day

(Eastern Counties and the Midlands)

Reporting to the Sales Director

  • To be an ambassador for the sales division and the Coolmation group as a whole


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sell chillers and heat pumps to HVAC, M&E and refrigeration contractors and Facility Management providers
  • To promote the Rhoss range of water chillers and heat pumps to Consultants in order they are included in specifications for air conditioning and industrial tenders
  • Provide technical presentations to consulting groups
  • To apply and sell a range of cooling equipment such as air blast coolers, cooling towers and ancillary equipment for process cooling applications direct to the industrial manufacturing sector
  • A mixture of new business development leading to account management
  • Business to business field sales
  • Attend periodic sales and management meetings and report on matters of strategic interest to the business
  • Maintain and update on a daily/weekly basis, diary management, sales reports and databases as provided
  • Promote other Coolmation Group activities whenever the opportunity arises and maintain a good level of communication with counterparts in other Coolmation Group Company’s
  • You will be expected to spend 4 days a week visiting clients and working from home the other day.   With periodic office visits to the Ringwood Head Office.

Area Service Manager 

(Midlands/North)

Reporting to the Operations Manager

The main function of the Area Service Manager is to support the operations manager to deliver service maintenance and repair work within an assigned area in accordance with contract requirements. Supporting the Operations Manager to ensure the Service Engineers deliver professional high quality standards of service, compliant with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations in an efficient and profitable manner.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Operations Manager in day to day management of the Service Engineers and assisting in planning and delivery of all routine maintenance, operations and repairs to Coolmation Service customer base
  • Working with the Operations Manager to report on HR matters to achieve satisfactory resolution in line with procedures. Liaising with the HR, Safety & Quality Director to ensure compliance with current and emerging employment legislation and company policies.
  • To maintain a healthy and safe working environment by ensuring compliance of service engineers with Health and Safety policies and procedures and IS014001; carrying out on site assessments and managing any breaches of regulations including liaising with customers on any areas of health and safety concern that may put our engineers at risk. Liaising with the HR, Safety & Quality Director to ensure Service staff are trained to carry out works safely, efficiently and to standards
  • Ensure on site statutory compliances and quality controlled IS09001 procedures are complied with and adhered to in line with contractual obligations and to maintain accurate records and documentation associated with Service operations
  • To ensure works are completed to specification, time and budget
  • To manage contact renewals.
  • Liaise, audit and manage the supply chain in line with IS09001 standards and the company’s non conformance processes; review and assess supply chain partners to meet service needs, cost controls, standard and regulations.
  • Undertake quality controlled audit of works in progress and completed. Ensuring customer complaints are managed through the company’s non conformance processes and complaints procedure providing corrective actions and preventative measures in line with IS09001 standards
  • Review and suggest improvements to operational and maintenance practices to add value to service delivery and reduce costs.
  • To provide high level quality customers service both internally and externally
  • To maximise any sales opportunities through service delivery

Qualified Chiller Service Engineers Required

Service4Chillers is a growing company that specialises in chiller service and maintenance in both industrial and commercial business sectors.  If you are a qualified chiller Service Engineer and looking to support this growth then we would like to hear from you.

Our business is to service, maintain and repair all makes of chillers, all capacities, with turbocor, scroll, screw or reciprocating compressors and would be particularly interested in hearing from engineers in the London and Birmingham areas.

Applicants must have a good fundamental knowledge of refrigeration, air & water cooled chillers and industry practices, with good customer communication skills.   Preferred academic qualifications would include Level 2/3 City and Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and C&G 2079 Safe Refrigerant Handling.

Successful applicants will be offered a competitive basic salary with overtime.  In addition, travel time is paid between home and the first/last call of the day.
